The standalone Snippet module behaves exactly in the same way as Snippets that are placed onto a Template, except that it can be managed outside of a Page item. Learn how to build and use Snippets.
Just as Snippets are reusable packages, by having their instances be managed on a separate CMS Items, another layer of re-usability is added. For instance, a snippet that defines a Slider Image Gallery can be created as separate items which then can each be rendered on various pages.
