Welcome to the Connected Apps Content Management System (CMS). Connected Apps CMS is a managed platform that leverages the scalability of cloud computing. This hosted platform prioritizes an ease of use interface without limiting functionality by providing a powerful software development kit (SDK). Through the SDK, a CMS instance can be extended to fit many highly customized configurations. This document is organized to first explain the main and important concepts used by the CMS, then provide separate user guides based on the roles you may have in place in your administrative process. Lastly, an in-depth SDK reference is provided for developers wishing to build their own CMS extensions.

Commonly used terms in this guide:

• CMS framework - used to refer to the Connected Apps CMS platform.
• CMS instance - used to refer to a specific CMS instance.
• Workspace - used to refer to the CMS's main administrative area where administrators and content area use to manage content.
• Administrator & CMS user - user account that can access the workspace to manage the instance's content.
• End user - used to refer to a CMS instance's public web site visitors. 
• CDN - acronym for Content Delivery Network.
